Quaristice

The new Autechre album, Quaristice, is being advertised on bleep as having "exclusive individual track artwork designed by the Designers Republic."

An interesting idea in these times when people shuffle all their tracks on their video ipods instead of listening an album from start to finish. And indeed, if bleep hadn't mentioned it, it would have been a nice suprise. But now, when advertised as something noteworthy, the experience is rather dissapointing. I'm used to artwork by the Designers Republic being minimalistic, especially on Autechre album covers, but three squares in blue, black and white in various arrangements?

I have tried to quickly convert the rules used in these individual track images to code, and the result is this, a quaristice track artwork generator (just refresh the page to get a new randomized image ;).
